On the first Monday of each month with the exception of holidays, Mountain State Medical Laboratory offers blood screenings to patients.  This service is for screening purposes only, but they are a convenient way to keep track of your health in a cost effective manner.  The screenings operate from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.  For best results, a 12 hour fasting is recommended before participating in the screening.

At this time we are only able to accept cash or checks for payment of the tests.  Payment is due at the time of service.

The laboratory offers the following tests to aid with monitoring your health:

  • CBC - This test is used as an indicator for infections, anemia, and clotting
  • Hemoglobin A1C - This test checks whether your glucose levels have been in control over the last two to three months by averaging the glucose levels.
  • Lipid Panel -  Used to indicate the levels of good and bad Cholesterol and triglycerides.
  • Multiphasic - A group of tests that includes a CBC test, chemistry profile, and lipid panel.
  • Thyroid Profile - Includes a T3, T4, TSH, and FTI test. 
  • PSA Test - Used for prostate cancer screening.
